After nearly 45 years of marriage, a couple were lying in bed one evening, when the wife felt her husband begin to fondle her in ways he hadn't in quite some time.

It almost tickled as his fingers started at her neck, and then began moving down past the small of her back. He then caressed her shoulders and neck, slowly worked his hand down over her breasts, stopping just over her lower stomach.

He then proceeded to place his hand on her left inner arm, caressed past the side of her breast again, working down her side, passed gently over her buttock and down her leg to her calf.
Then, he proceeded up her inner thigh, stopping just at the uppermost portion of her leg. He continued in the same manner on her right side, then suddenly stopped, rolled over and became silent.

As she had become quite aroused by this caressing , she asked in a loving voice, "Honey, that was wonderful. Why did you stop?"

"I found the remote," he mumbled.

Peyton Manning

OK...so I'm sitting here, well after midnight...watching the NFL Network (thanks Jessica for ordering this for me!)...and I'm watching "NFL Total Access"...and they're interviewing Peyton Manning...you know...since HE's NOT in the Super Bowl this year, but his little brother is.

Just to listen to this guy...with his new "goatee" (who am I to talk? I've had a goatee for YEARS!)... saying how much Eli has taught him...blah blah freaking BLAH...

It made me very happy to watch the ensuing commercial for a Cadillac that I'll never be able to afford, but comes equipped with a 40 gig hard drive for it's built-in MP3 player! WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!! Peyton and Eli WHO???

Oh...anyway...I truly feel that the Patriots will win the Super Bowl on Sunday. And I don't think this is their last trip in the near future. BUT...with all the HYPE of this upcoming Super Bowl (can you even watch the first 10 minutes of local tv news without seeing much else than the Super Bowl???)...could you even IMAGINE what the hype would be if the Colts were playing the Giants in the Super Bowl??? "Manning vs Manning". "Big Brother vs Little Brother". It would be INSANE!!! And...of course...in that game...I'd be rooting for Eli. But that's just me.

Did I mention to you recently of just how STUPID (???) that I am??? I actually volunteered to work a 24-hour shift on the ambulance on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!! WHAT??????????????? Well...there were 4 open 24-hour shifts in my company on that day. So, I picked the truck that had the most chance of watching the whole game without being interrupted by a 911 call (yes, it's a crapshoot...but I'll play the odds!)...and it gives me 24 hours of Overtime...PLUS...Bonus Cash, because they couldn't fill the shift on Super Bowl Sunday (when they knew they'd never get anyone in to work!). Worst Case Scenario...I get interrupted during the game...miss parts of it... and when I go home, I watch it on TIVO! I'll still already know the outcome...but at least I'll get to watch it!

Hmmmm...let's see...what else? OH!!! Let's talk about *Asterisks*!!!

So...if the Patriots win the Super Bowl...do you think there should be an Asterisk next to their name/numbers of this potential 19-0 football team??? If I can figure out how to post a "Poll Question" on this site, I'll ask it. But for now...what do you think???

Be safe everyone.

Let's Talk About Adam Vinatieri, Shall We???

Because I have an awesome wife, who ordered me the NFL Network on our cable...I have just finished watching the 2003 Superbowl, when the Patriots won their second Lombardi Trophy, against the Carolina Panthers. And for the second time, it was won by Vinitieri's leg. After he had already missed a "pooch punt" field goal, and had his next one blocked (not his fault), he kicked the game-winner, with a couple of seconds left in the game. Vinatieri really was such a staple of this team. And I'm by no means "knocking" Stephen Gastkowski...but this year, with Brady's arm, and all the target's he's had to throw at, he just hasn't had all that many opportunities to "shine".

My Cousin, Michael, had a chance to have a guided tour of Gillette stadium, guided by Johnathan Kraft. And during the day, he got to not only meet Adam Vinitieri, but Adam gave him an autograph for Michael's daughter.

Should this change my view of him?

Well...it doesn't.

I've always liked Adam Vinitieri, and when he left the Patriots to go to the Colts...I didn't jump on the "We Now Hate You" bandwagon. Would I have liked for him to have stayed with the Patriots? Of course! But he's a man...a person...someone who provides for his family, and makes career choices that will benefit him, and his family. Like the rest of us. I never liked the fact that he switched to the Colts. But I've always liked him.

Now...I'll be honest...Have I NOT taken a bit a pleasure in the fact that Vinitieri has NOT performed anywhere near as well for the Colts as he did for the Patriots??? I'd lie if I said it didn't make me smile (Johnny Damon, anyone???). But I've always liked Adam as a player, and will always like him, no matter who he plays for.

Agree with me. Disagree with me. But he's been a great kicker in his time in the NFL.
